Cityzen Space is a foundation, which is  dedicated to exploring and understanding how people can exercise their right fo a city and a quality living environment through architecture, art, urban studies and multidisciplinary practice. Our mission is to research demand from citizens, to create precedents answering this demand, and respond to it through interdisciplinary practices and formats that we package into an open methodology ( educational exhibitions, art residencies, tactical urbanism, discussion platforms).

Cityzen Space foundation is a social impact bureau for civic tech consultancy, education technologies in urbanism and architecture, multidisciplinary research and creative producing in civic tech and social impact projects.  Our main impact strategy is in sharing civic methodology with the professional community, decision makers and citizens.

 

Our main topics that we explore and extend to citizens through open methodology is right for the city, destigmatization and inclusive environment, collective memory, cultural and architectural heritage research and preservation.

 

Our regular audience is multidisciplinary professionals, such as architects, artists, researchers, urbanists and active citizens united by the desire to extend their professional horizons through peer-to-peer exchange and project -based learning, advocating inclusivity and right for the city.

 

We believe that the most sustainable practice for the development of civil society and urban communities that seek to expand the space for life is through the dissemination of methodology based on real case studies. By sharing our experiences and best practices, we hope to empower individuals and communities to make informed decisions and take action towards creating the cities and environments they deserve.
